The Crew Lead is a full-time, on-site role based in Tulsa, OK, responsible for supervising and coordinating daily concrete installation and finishing activities. This role oversees a crew in the preparation, placement, and finishing of decorative and architectural concrete, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, and to quality standards. The Crew Lead assigns tasks, monitors progress, and provides hands-on support with site layout, concrete pours, staining, texturing, and clean-up.
This position communicates with project managers and other stakeholders, maintains tools and equipment, and ensures adherence to company safety policies and customer service expectations. The Crew Lead also assists with training crew members, solving on-site issues, and supporting continuous improvement of installation processes.
- Ability to lead and supervise construction crews, including task delegation, performance monitoring, and on-site training.
- Hands-on experience with concrete installation, finishing, decorative techniques, and use of related tools and equipment.
- Knowledge of construction site safety practices and ability to promote a safe working environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with team members, contractors, and clients.
- Ability to read and follow project plans, drawings, and specifications, with attention to detail and quality.
- Reliable transportation to job sites in and around Tulsa, OK, and willingness to work outdoors in varying conditions.
- Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting, bending, and extended periods of standing or walking.
- Previous experience in concrete, masonry, or related construction fields; leadership experience is preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical or trade training in construction is a plus.
