Tulsa, OK Pay: $20-$35 per hour DOE
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM Overtime:
May be available Job Type: Full-Time Paid Breaks: 10:00-10:15 AM and 2:00-2:15 PM Lunch: 12:00-12:30 PM, unpaid
- Basic understanding of electrical systems
- Ability to read and understand basic wiring diagrams
- Basic electrical troubleshooting skills
- Comfortable using basic hand tools
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Comfortable working inside aircraft and in confined spaces
- Ability to bend, kneel, reach, climb, and work in various positions
- Dependable attendance and consistent work schedule
- Ability to pass a DOT 5-panel drug test
- Must have basic personal hand tools
Trinity Employment Specialists is seeking a Full-Time Avionics Technician for an exciting opportunity in the aviation industry. The Avionics Technician will perform installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and modification of avionics and electrical systems on turbo and light jet aircraft. Training is provided, and candidates with limited aviation experience are encouraged to apply. This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong electrical or mechanical background who wants to build a career in aircraft avionics.
A&P certification is NOT required.
– Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Install, remove, repair, and modify aircraft avionics and electrical systems
- Read and interpret wiring diagrams and technical manuals
- Perform basic electrical and avionics troubleshooting
- Fabricate and install wire harnesses
- Perform wire repairs, crimping, pinning, and splicing
- Assist with avionics installation and functional testing
- Maintain accurate maintenance and installation documentation
- Follow aircraft safety, FOD, and tool-control procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all company safety and quality procedures
- Previous aviation or avionics experience is preferred but not required
- Electrical, electronics, automotive, industrial maintenance, or mechanical experience is a plus
- Ability to learn aircraft electrical and avionics systems
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Must be comfortable working inside aircraft for extended periods
- Must be able to provide and maintain basic personal hand tools
- Candidates should have basic personal hand tools, including:
Screwdrivers - Wrenches
- Socket set
- Pliers
- Flush cutters
- Needle‑nose pliers
- Razor knife
- Small tool bag
