Foreman - Sod Installation

Okie Staffing is seeking an experienced Working Foreman to lead and support field crews on erosion control and sod installation projects across the Tulsa area. This is a hands-on leadership role
—you will direct daily operations while working alongside your team to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to high-quality standards.

Projects include work with ODOT, Turnpike Authority, municipal, and commercial contractors
, making this a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment.

Pay Rate $25.00–$30.00/hour (DOE) + Overtime

• Lead and direct field crews daily while actively working alongside them
• Manage daily production goals and job site priorities
• Assign tasks and ensure efficient workflow on-site
• Track employee hours and report daily production
• Communicate professionally with contractors, inspectors, and supervisors
• Ensure crews have proper tools, equipment, and PPE
• Enforce safety standards and company policies
• Identify and correct unsafe or inefficient work practices
• Train, mentor, and coach new employees
• Operate equipment such as skid steers, track loaders, front-end loaders, and brush hogs
• Execute erosion control measures including #
  sodding, silt fence, mulching, #hydroseeding, and dike installations

• Proven experience leading crews in #construction #landscaping, or #erosion control
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Experience operating heavy equipment (skid steer, loader, etc.)
• Valid Driver’s License #
  ClassA preferred, not required
• Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly
• Reliable transportation to and from job sites
• Willingness to work overtime and occasional weekends
• Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug screenings
• Must provide professional references
• Background check (including E-Verify) required upon hire

• Experience working on ODOT, Turnpike, or municipal projects
• Knowledge of erosion control standards and compliance
• Previous experience in a working foreman or crew lead role
