Role Description

The Heating Air Conditioning Service Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in the Tulsa Metropolitan Area. This role involves performing diagnostics, maintenance, and repair on residential HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, and related equipment. Daily responsibilities include troubleshooting system issues, completing preventive maintenance visits, recommending appropriate repairs, and documenting all work performed. The technician will communicate clearly with homeowners, explain findings and options, provide accurate estimates, and ensure a clean and safe work environment.

The role also includes adhering to safety and environmental regulations, maintaining tools and vehicles, and supporting a culture of honesty, reliability, and customer-focused service.

Qualifications
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose HVAC system issues accurately and efficiently.
  • Experience in maintenance & repair of heating and cooling equipment, including routine service and emergency repairs.
  • Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices to extend equipment life and improve system performance.
  • EPA certification (or ability to obtain) and understanding of safe handling of refrigerants and environmental regulations.
  • Commitment to customer satisfaction, with clear communication and a neighborly, professional attitude in every interaction.
  • Familiarity with residential HVAC systems, basic electrical and mechanical principles, and use of diagnostic tools.
  • Ability to work independently in the field, manage time effectively, and complete accurate service documentation.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record; willingness to travel within the Tulsa Metropolitan Area.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical school training or relevant HVAC certifications are preferred.
  • Physical ability to lift equipment, work in attics and crawl spaces, and perform tasks in various weather conditions.
