Our drivers transport materials to job sites, load and secure cargo, unload using cranes, conveyors, or hand, and follow all traffic laws and company policies. They serve as the face of the company, leading, instructing, and supervising others on the job site.
Responsibilities- Safely drive the most efficient route to the job site, observing all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Assist in loading and securing materials on trucks daily.
- Unload materials using crane, conveyor, piggyback, or hand.
- Lead, instruct, and supervise others on the job site.
- Valid state CDL Class A or B Driver’s License with clear MVR and DOT record
- 21 years old or older
- Current and valid Medical Certification Card
- At least one year of consecutive CDL driving experience
- High degree of attention and considerable dexterity in vehicle control
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors under adverse weather conditions
- Ability to bend, reach, lift, and climb
- Ability to climb on a rooftop and ensure proper stacking (location based)
- Ability to repeatedly lift up to 100 pounds for extended periods
- Ability to climb a 40’ ladder (location based)
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintain vehicle cleanliness
- U.S. citizen or authorized to work in the U.S.
- Must pass a company required drug screening; all employees are subject to random drug testing per company policy
- Previous material handling experience
- Previous forklift experience
- Certification to operate a crane
- Pay based on experience
