Position: Auto Parts Dispatcher (Full Time) #122

Today, Replacement Parts, Inc. and Crow Burlingame is made up of a corporate staff and several different companies, including Parts Warehouse Inc. (PWI). We employ more than 1,400 employees, in twelve (12) states, working at approximately 220 locations, all operating in the aftermarket automotive parts, paint and heavy-duty parts business. The Delivery Dispatcher is essential to the success of a high volume store. He or shereceives, records, and distributes orders to delivery drivers upon customers' requests. They assist the store's delivery drivers to coordinate the most efficient routes and communicate with customers estimated times of their delivery. They will have the opportunity to make deliveries to meet the needs of our customers along with their other duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Records information such as name, address, and special instructions.
• Helps fill orders and distributes to delivery crew.
• Schedules delivery (if necessary) and dispatches delivery drivers.
• Calls customer to ensure satisfactory performance of service and keeps record of orders.
• Dispatches orders and relays messages and special instructions to mobile crews and other departments.

• Delivers parts when necessary.
• All other job duties as assigned.

Duties during deliveries

• Provide exceptional customer service. This includes but is not limited to assessing customer needs, meeting quality standards for services and evaluating customer satisfaction.
• Abide by rules of the road and laws for safely operating a vehicle.
• Determine the priority of deliveries including the most timely and efficient route, when not directed by a manager or counterperson.
• Receive and process orders and other documents by reviewing for completeness and clarity before delivery.
• Maintain a clean and well running delivery vehicle by performing routine maintenance and inspections.
• Ability to safely drive a vehicle in different weather and traffic conditions.
• Maintain a valid Driver's License and clean driving record.

• Maintain a clean facility inside and outside. This includes but is not limited to sweep, mop, pick up trash, straighten and dust shelves, rearrange stock, etc.
• Adhere to scheduled work time unless authorized by a manager.

Education and/or Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent experience or motivation to pursue a GED. Automotive parts and/or customer service experience preferred.

Language Skills

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
