Driver Class A

Clean Harbors in Tulsa, OK is seeking a Class A CDL Driver / Hazmat / Tanker - Equipment Operation to operate a variety of heavy and light duty trucks/work equipment at customer sites, including vacuum trucks, Cuscos, guzzlers, and roll offs. This role is responsible for performing driving and non-driving duties related to hazardous waste clean‑up.

This position requires new hires to attend a two‑week Academy (paid) training; the company may assign participation out of state and covers all expenses.

• Ensure health and safety by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes.
• Operate commercial trucks and assist field laborers as needed.
• Operate a variety of Class A trucks.
• Load and unload trucks.
• Perform manual labor on site to fulfill customer needs.
• Properly placard vehicles to meet company and DOT requirements.
• Maintain daily logs, time sheets, and various reports.
• Follow all local, state, and federal compliance regulations and rules.
• Safely operate vehicles per U.S. DOT and other applicable requirements.
• Observe corporate operating guidelines and procedures.
• Adhere to environmental health and safety operating guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Be available on call for emergency response on a rotating basis every other week.
• Perform site remediation, equipment decontamination, and hazardous materials handling.

• Valid Class A CDL.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsement.
• Ability to use various mobile devices.
• Perform physical functions required by the job.
• Pass background check, drug test, and physical assessment when required.
• Meet facial hair standards per OSHA’s Respiratory Protection Standard, 29 CFR 1910.34.

• Commercial driver experience.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsement.
• Previous Hazmat experience.
• Ability to operate a manual transmission.
• Previous manual labor experience.
