A Transportation Specialist is responsible for coordinating and managing the logistics of the transportation services. This role involves planning and optimizing transportation routes, ensuring timely arrivals and departures, and maintaining communication with all other drivers.
Essential Functions/Duties/Responsibilities:- Recording Daily Mileage.
- Check Fluids in Vehicles, including keeping the vehicle fueled to a half tank or more.
- Keeping vehicles clean, vacuumed, and washed.
- Ensuring the proper equipment for Hospital pickups (leg extenders, O2 tanks, wheelchairs).
- Keeping Track of daily schedule, looking for updates added, reading the added notes for drives.
- Flexibility to adapt to unexpected changes in scheduling.
- Resident Interaction and communication.
- High focus on safety and efficiency.

- Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least two years related experience required.
- Valid Driver’s License.
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
Ability to stand or sit for extended periods, depending on the nature of the tasks.
