Become a US Foods Shuttle Driver
Ready to build a career with a company that’s leading the food service industry? The primary function of this position is to drive tractor trailers containing various products (meats, produce, frozen foods, dry goods, etc.) to and from remote dispatch sites.
Compensation$26.45 per hour, generally working Sunday through Thursday 5 pm to 4 am.

Main Ingredients of the Job- Safely drive trucks to and from remote dispatch sites
- May be called upon to perform duties of Backhaul or Delivery Driver
- Perform all pre‑trip and post‑trip equipment inspections
- Comfortable driving and working in inclement weather conditions
- Register to the FMCSA Clearinghouse*; this is a requirement by the Department of Transportation
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must have a valid CDL Class A issued by the state of legal residence with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications
- 6 months commercial driving experience required
- Doubles endorsement required (minimum 6 months driving with doubles endorsements preferred)
- Must be comfortable working overnight
- Preference for ability to operate manual transmission; may be required in specific locations
- Must be able to read and communicate in English (hold a conversation, understand highway signs and signals, respond to official inquiries, and record information on reports and records)
