Circle V Specialized provides hauling services for construction equipment, bridge beams and energy related companies in the oil, gas, coal, wind, and nuclear industries. The company is located in Tulsa, Oklahoma and has a fleet of 13 trucks and several specially designed trailers. Circle V Specialized has the ability to transport loads weighing up to 450,000 pounds. With the authority to haul in the contiguous United States and Canada, there is no limit to where we can go.

This position is an over-the-road truck driving role.

The Heavy Haul Driver position is responsible for safely driving and operating, loading and unloading cargo from trailers, and securing loads when necessary. This position will haul a variety of equipment and cargo in varying lengths, height, and weight.

• Drive on public roadways and construction sites in accordance with safe and prudent practice, DOT regulations, public safety laws, OSHA regulations, and the Company’s Safety Program.
• Operate and deliver materials on assigned vehicles in a safe, legal, efficient, and professional manner without additional training.
• Verify specification and order compliance for the materials delivered.
• Operate assigned vehicle in accordance with the manufacturers’ recommendations, Company policies and procedures, and safe practice.
• Maintain DOT logbook and comply with all DOT requirements as necessary.
• Use sound judgment in all driving and site conditions. Drive safely and carefully. Comply with all traffic laws. Adjust driving to the conditions. Take all necessary precautions to protect assigned vehicle and other’s property.
• Keep assigned trucks and equipment in a safe and proper mechanical condition, correctly maintained and clean inside and outside. Insure the proper servicing and maintenance of assigned vehicle. Perform minor repairs and service when necessary.
• Other duties as assigned per supervisor.

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred, or demonstrable equivalent.
• Must possess a Class A CDL with double or triple endorsements.
• Previous experience driving over the road with flat bed/open bed preferred.

• Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to read, write, and accurately perform basic mathematical functions including adding, subtracting, multiplication and division.
• Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
• Must possess knowledge of Company policies and procedures, including safety.
• Must consistently produce and efficient, accurate work product.
