JOB SUMMARY
Collaborate with the Assistant Chief Pilot and Chief Pilot of the flight department to provide safe, efficient, and timely air transportation for employees and company representatives.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Act as Pilot in Command (PIC) and Second in Command (SIC) for all flights, ensuring all related competencies.
- Verify aircraft compliance with all Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
- Ensure all preflight inspections are performed before each flight, verify aircraft databases, review weight and balance, fuel on board, and aircraft performance.
- Coordinate aircraft handling and fueling with Fixed Based Operators (FBOs).
- Prepare flight plans and evaluate weather conditions at the destination and en route to ensure optimum safety; make competent, well‑informed decisions regarding proceeding, diverting, delaying, or canceling flights.
- Maintain aircraft in a clean condition and ensure all provisions necessary for passenger safety and comfort are available.
- Provide exemplary customer service to all passengers, coordinating travel needs such as catering services and ground transportation.
Bachelor's Degree preferred.
WORK EXPERIENCE- Minimum of 4,000 flight hours with at least 1,500 flight hours in multi‑engine aircraft.
- Minimum of 500 hours as Pilot in Command (PIC) in turbine‑powered aircraft.
- Meet all currency requirements regarding instrument flight time and night landings.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Demonstrate effective communication with flight department personnel, company employees, and their associates.
- Communicate effectively with Air Traffic Control (ATC).
- Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate.
- CL30 Type Rating preferred.
- Maintain a First Class FAA medical certificate.
- Hold a passport with the ability to travel to Canada.
