We are seeking an experienced Shipping & Logistics Coordinator to manage shipping arrangements, coordinate trucking, maintain accurate logistics documentation, and support the safe loading of large equipment onto flatbed trailers. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, dependable, comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, and experienced with heavy equipment shipping.

Responsibilities of Shipping & Logistics Coordinator

• Coordinate daily shipping activities and transportation arrangements.
• Schedule and coordinate trucking for outgoing shipments.
• Enter and maintain shipment information in customer logistics portals.
• Communicate with trucking companies, customers, and internal teams to ensure shipments are scheduled and completed accurately.
• Prepare and maintain shipping documentation and records.
• Coordinate the movement of large equipment and oversized loads as needed.
• Safely load and secure large equipment onto flatbed trailers.
• Verify equipment, quantities, and shipment details prior to loading.
• Follow all company and safety procedures when handling and loading equipment.
• Ensure shipments are completed accurately and on schedule.
• Assist with resolving shipping or transportation issues as they arise.

Qualifications of Shipping & Logistics Coordinator

• Previous experience in shipping, logistics, transportation, or a manufacturing environment.
• Experience coordinating trucking or freight shipments.
• Comfortable using customer logistics portals and computer systems to enter shipment information.
• Experience loading large equipment onto flatbed trailers.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to accurately complete shipping documentation.
• Ability to work safely around large equipment and trailers.
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Preferred Experience Shipping & Logistics Coordinator:

• 2+ years of shipping, logistics, freight, or manufacturing experience.
• Experience with flatbed trailers and heavy/oversized equipment.
• Experience working with customer transportation or logistics portals.
