Yard Laborer
Industrial Yard / Equipment Teardown Laborer Pay: $18/hr to start
Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM, with OT possible
Location:
Tulsa Area
We are looking for a self-motivated, safety-conscious individual who is comfortable working independently and spending most of the day outdoors.
What You'll Do:
- Tear down equipment and units for scrapping
- Operate a forklift and other yard equipment
- Drain oil and condensate from units in the yard and as they return
- Operate a trailer connected to a company truck
- Roll equipment throughout the yard and maintain detailed records
Working outdoors in the elements.
What We're Looking For:
- Must have a valid driver's license and good driving record
- Must be able to meet company insurance requirements
- Self-motivated and able to work mostly independently
- Safety-minded and able to follow all safety protocols
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Important:
The shop is not climate controlled - Knowledge of power tools, especially grinders, is a plus
- Must be able to operate a forklift
- Must not have a medical marijuana card
Pay & Opportunity:
Starting pay is $18/hr, with potential for $19/hr for exceptional candidates. If hired full-time, there is an opportunity for a pay increase. This is a hands-on, physical position that is primarily outdoor work. The right candidate needs to be dependable, motivated, comfortable working independently, and prepared to work in a non-climate-controlled environment.
