Service Writer / Back Parts Counter

Inland Truck Parts & Service – Tulsa, Oklahoma
$23.00+ per hour | Monday–Friday | 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

Inland Truck Parts & Service is looking for an experienced Service Writer / Back Parts Counter team member to join our Tulsa location.

If you know heavy-duty trucks, parts, or repair
, enjoy working with customers and technicians, and like keeping a busy shop organized, this could be a great fit.

This position plays an important role in keeping our service department moving. You’ll be the connection between our customers, technicians, and parts department
—helping coordinate repairs from the time a truck arrives until the job is complete.

• Communicate with customers regarding repair needs, estimates, status updates, and completed work

• Coordinate and schedule work within the service department

• Work closely with technicians to keep repair jobs moving efficiently

• Prepare accurate repair estimates and final invoices

• Identify, order, pull, and stage parts needed for service work

• Help ensure technicians have the right parts when they need them

• Maintain organized and accurate repair and parts information

• Provide excellent customer service in person and over the phone

Our ideal candidate:

• Has experience with heavy-duty truck parts, service, or repair

• Has a solid understanding of automotive or heavy-duty truck parts

• Enjoys working in a busy, fast-paced environment

• Communicates well with both customers and technicians

• Is organized and able to manage multiple priorities

• Has strong customer service and phone skills

• Is dependable, team-oriented, and willing to learn

• Has a valid driver's license and good driving record

• CDL is a plus, but not required

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform the physical activities necessary for the position, including bending, stooping, twisting, carrying, pushing, pulling, reaching overhead, and using steps.

Post-offer testing is required, including a drug test and physical/back exam.
