** Shipping Lead
** Ameristar Perimeter Security USA, an ASSA ABLOY branded company, is looking for a detail-oriented shipper with experience in sorting and preparing shipments, skilled in scanning technologies. Also committed to error-free order fulfillment and contributing to a positive team.
** This will be a 1st shift position.
**** What you will be doing:
*** Maintain clean, safe, organized material storage areas.
* Provide leadership by example for all employees.
* Coach and train employees in policy and procedure regarding safety, quality and productivity in that order of importance.
* Plan and assign daily tasks geared toward meeting daily schedule and departmental goals to area employees.* (Inventory Management) Control scrap logs in thrive and improve yearly inventory accuracy.* (Part Identification) All items are to be identified with correct part number or DNI.
* Actively participate in process improvement projects geared toward cost savings in labor and materials.
* Organize and plan for loading situations and make requests for additional manpower.
* Review performance and attendance of line employees and Document performance and disciplinary actions.
** The skills and experience you need:
*** Education***:
** High school diploma or GED.

* Experience:

** Shipping experience preferred.
* Warehouse management system experience preferred. (WMS)
* Forklift experience.
* Other:
** Strong documentation skills, reporting skills and computer skills.
* The ability to think and react quickly to changing situations and adjust to changing priorities.
* Ability to be a contributing and collaborative team member.
