Material Handler, Warehouse Associate
Ellsworth Corporation is hiring a Part‑time ePlus Field Inventory Specialist (approximately six hours per week) in Tulsa, OK.
Responsibilities- Accurately perform inventory transactions for lot‑controlled and non‑lot‑controlled inventory following FIFO methods while understanding the difference between manufacturer and internal lot numbers.
- Validate inbound shipment against pack slip and open receipt, complete processing of receipt VMI and perform put‑away in designated customer inventory storage locations.
- Review shelf‑life reports and communicate potential issues with team members and/or customers; scrap material out when appropriate and follow customer‑specified disposal procedures.
- Perform and reconcile cycle counts to compare VMI inventory to actual inventory on hand.
- Proactively seek out and interact with key customer contacts to understand demand fluctuations and potential impact on inventory levels, identify and troubleshoot onsite issues, and work collaboratively to resolve, escalating when necessary.
- Maintain the Account Attribute master document for each customer location; edit the document based on changes in the account/location relationship and understand differences between consigned and non‑consigned inventory at a customer location.
- 2+ years of related industrial experience and/or training.
- High school diploma or equivalency (GED, HSED).
- Must work well independently and manage own time effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively at various levels internally and externally.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and thoroughness.
- Balance team and individual responsibilities.
- Good listener.
- Maintain confidentiality while balancing customer‑specific requirements.
- Adapt to changes in the work environment.
- Accurately manage inventory transactions at multiple locations as needed.
- Forklift certification may be required.
- Familiarity with use of VMI software.
- Familiar with VMI solutions and equipment including pull‑tag and RFID.
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record; have reliable access to a personal vehicle for daily use throughout the assigned territory.
- Maintain current automobile insurance that meets Ellsworth policy requirements.
- Lift up to 50 lbs.
- May require extended periods of walking and standing.
- May require working outdoors depending on customer inventory storage requirements.
- Up to daily travel within the assigned customers.
