Shipping & Receiving Clerk

PRYER Aerospace is hiring for a Full Time Experienced Toolmaker. PRYER Aerospace is a leading provider of structural components, assemblies and kits to the aerospace industry. We specialize in the fabrication of complex sheet metal and machined components for commercial, corporate and military aircraft.

POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for finished goods inventory. Receives, stores, and distributes parts within Pryer.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Receives in inventory and stocks onto shelves.
• Maintains accurate inventory records through the use of ERP.
• Perform Cycle Counting and verifies inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts of stock, and resolves discrepancies.
• Fills internal job Routers.
• Maintains hardware and weld wire levels and sends request to purchasing for replenishment.
• Maintains warehouse appearance, including housekeeping and organization.
• Maintains basic quality requirements/ISO Awareness.

• Prepare materials for shipment as required.
• Good organization, prioritization, and multi-tasking skills.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Support the company and department business goals and objectives for Quality, Cost, Delivery, Safety and Attitude (QCDSA).
• Function as a team member and under minimal supervision.
• Perform essential functions at the discretion of the Manager.

EDUCATION:

High School diploma or equivalent.

EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum three (3) months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous experience with receipt and stocking of material, filling requisitions, work orders or requests for materials/parts

• Experience handling both external and internal customers, building relationships and good customer service.

• Experience operating a forklift truck to move product around warehouse and load truck is desired.

COMPUTER

SKILLS:

Proficient in the use of material management tracking software and Microsoft Word and Excel

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES:
Valid Oklahoma Driver's license with minimal or no points on driving record. Able to be certified to safely operate a forklift.
