Shipping Dock Auditor

Mon-Thu 5am-3:30pm

The Shipping Dock Auditor performs spot audits of completed orders to verify that warehouse pickers selected the correct materials and quantities before shipments are loaded onto outbound trucks. This role ensures shipment accuracy, identifies discrepancies, and helps maintain inventory integrity and customer satisfaction.

• Perform spot checks on completed orders prior to loading.
• Verify picked materials against pick tickets, shipping documents, or system records.
• Identify and report picking errors, shortages, overages, or damaged materials.
• Ensure shipments meet quality and accuracy standards before departure.
• Communicate discrepancies to warehouse supervisors and picking personnel for correction.
• Maintain audit records and documentation.
• Assist with inventory accuracy by identifying recurring picking and inventory issues.
• Follow all warehouse safety policies and procedures.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in warehouse operations, shipping/receiving, inventory control, or order fulfillment.
• Inventory experience preferred.
• Familiarity with barcode scanners, RF devices, or warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
