Job Title:
Warehouse Operator. Level: Individual Contributor. Shift: Day shift. No remote option. Must work at a specified Cox location.
Compensation:
Hourly base pay ranging from $16.59 to $24.86 per hour, with eligibility for additional compensation such as commission or incentive programs.
Location:
Requires travel to and from the Tulsa warehouse as needed for deliveries.
- Receiving and putting away CPE shipments and material products into assigned Bin/Row locations from a Primary Distribution Center (PDC) or manufacturer.
- Fulfilling CPE and material orders to boundary partners and monitoring inventory levels and restocking as needed.
- Utilizing Warehouse Management System (WMS) applications and scanners to perform warehouse functions.
- Processing CPE returns, including sorting, boxing, labeling, shrink‑wrapping, and staging on pallets for shipment back to the PDC.
- Monitoring and restocking Quick Pick locations to maintain adequate inventory levels.
- Using light warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, hand trucks, and carts.
- Safely operating heavy machinery such as forklifts and larger delivery vehicles for pickup, delivery, loading and unloading of CPE, materials, equipment, and mail.
- Assisting in daily cycle counts to audit physical and systemic accuracy of inventory.
- Performing other duties as requested.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Generally less than 2 years’ experience in a related field.
- Valid driver’s license and safe driving record; ability to operate a commercial motor vehicle (DOT physical required where applicable).
- Basic computing skills (e.g., email, Microsoft Office) and aptitude for learning warehouse inventory management systems such as CHAT, Oracle, ICOMS.
- Capability to operate warehouse equipment including pallet jacks, stretch‑wrap machines, and forklifts.
- Physical capability to frequently stand, walk, grasp, reach, lift 50–70 pounds, and push or pull pallets and carts.
- Ability to work outdoors and in extreme weather conditions, including wet and dry environments.
- Strong ability to multi‑task, prioritize, and work in a service‑oriented, fast‑paced team environment.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including on‑call rotation.
- Preferred:
At least 1 year of experience operating 20–26 foot box trucks.
- Minimum of sixteen hours of paid time off (PTO) each month and seven paid holidays each calendar year.
