Shipping & Receiving Coordinator Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Coordinator to support daily warehouse and shipping operations. This position is responsible for coordinating shipments, preparing shipping documentation, verifying materials, maintaining shipping records, and ensuring products are delivered accurately and on time. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process shipping paperwork, packing lists, and shipping data entry.
  • Coordinate transportation logistics and verify shipment destinations.
  • Verify materials staged for shipment and inspect incoming work orders.
  • Prepare shipping documentation, including commercial invoices and international shipping paperwork.
  • Assist with customs documentation and outside processing shipments.
  • Coordinate warehouse inventory and shipping/receiving activities.
  • Operate forklifts and pallet jacks as needed.
  • Maintain shipping logs and reporting records.
  • Communicate effectively with Production, Sales, Purchasing, Engineering, and other departments to ensure timely shipments.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 3-5 years of Shipping & Receiving or Warehouse Coordination experience preferred.
  • Forklift and pallet jack experience required.
  • Basic computer and math skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, and perform repetitive motions throughout the shift.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds and push or pull up to 40 pounds.
  • Ability to operate forklifts and warehouse equipment safely.
  • Ability to work in a warehouse environment with exposure to dust.

This is a Safety Sensitive position as defined by the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana and Patient Protection Act.
