This position is located in Tumwater, WA.

The job of Student Support Coordinator is done for the purpose/s of coordinating student health and support programs within the Health Services and Student Support department of Capital Region ESD 113.
Essential FunctionsCollaboration Collaborates with others for the purpose of implementing and maintaining services in accordance with program requirements.
Project Coordination Coordinates project components, support needs, and materials (e.g. various District sites, etc.) for the purpose of delivering student support services.
Staff Training Development Develops staff training (e.g. informational presentations, student support concepts, assessment and evaluation processes, etc.) for the purpose of increasing staff capacity to deliver student support services.
Meeting Facilitation Facilitates meetings for the purpose of implementing project planning and coordination to help identify appropriate actions and develop recommendations.
Program Participation Management Manages growth and fluctuations in student support program participation for the purpose of planning effective utilization of resources.
Service Monitoring Monitors project services for the purpose of providing support as needed, facilitating activities, and ensuring student support services are met.
Meeting Participation Participates in a variety of meetings for the purpose of conveying and gathering information regarding a wide variety of subjects required to perform project responsibilities.
Document Preparation Prepares a variety of documents as required by the program for the purpose of assuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
Personnel Oversight Provides oversight to assigned personnel for the purpose of ensuring services are provided within program guidelines.
Other FunctionsPersonnel Assistance Assists other personnel as may be required for the purpose of supporting them in the completion of their work activities.
Related Duties Performs other related duties as assigned for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit.

Skills and Abilities
Knowledge Required Knowledge is required to perform basic math, including calculations using fractions, percents, and/or ratios; read technical information, compose a variety of documents, and/or facilitate group discussions; and analyze situations to define issues and draw conclusions. Specific knowledge based competencies required to satisfactorily perform the functions of the job include: application of pertinent laws, codes, policies, and/or regulations; training or social work setting;
and local community resources.
Skills Required Skills are required to perform multiple, technical tasks with a need to occasionally upgrade skills in order to meet changing job conditions. Specific skill based competencies required to satisfactorily perform the functions of the job include: operating standard office equipment including utilizing pertinent software applications; planning and managing projects; developing effective working relationships; preparing and maintaining accurate records; and self-starting, growth-oriented person.
Abilities Required Ability is required to schedule activities, meetings, and/or events; often gather, collate, and/or classify data; and use basic, job-related equipment. Flexibility is required to independently work with others in a wide variety of circumstances; work with data utilizing defined and similar processes; and operate equipment using defined methods. Ability is also required to work with a diversity of individuals and/or groups;
work with a variety of data; and utilize job-related equipment. Independent problem solving is required to analyze issues and create action plans. Problem solving with data requires analysis based on organizational objectives; and problem solving with equipment is limited to moderate.
Specific ability based competencies required to satisfactorily perform the functions of the job include: maintaining confidentiality; communicating with diverse groups; working as part of a team; communicating complex information in an easy to understand manner.
ResponsibilityResponsibilities include:
working under limited supervision using standardized practices and/or methods; leading, guiding, and/or coordinating others; monitoring budget expenditures.
