Requirements
- We require a high school diploma or equivalent.
- We require at least one year of customer service experience, with a strong focus on resolving issues on the first contact and following through to completion.
- We look for a working understanding of TCP/IP, Active Directory tasks such as user setup, account removal, and password resets, as well as basic antivirus concepts.
- We prefer candidates with 12 months of experience supporting common productivity software, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- We value relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified:
Fundamentals, ITIL Foundation, or similar credentials in service desk, networking, or systems administration.
- We provide first-line technical support by diagnosing issues, asking clarifying questions, and offering practical solutions to customers.
- We record service requests and incident details in help desk software, track progress, and follow up to ensure timely resolution.
- We troubleshoot and resolve workstation, printer, network, and software problems, while documenting the steps taken and opening service tickets when needed.
- We elevate more complex incidents and requests when they exceed our access or support limits.
- We reset passwords for agency applications and network services.
- We install software on customer devices.
- We maintain support documentation and assist users with questions and navigation through agency applications using our knowledge base and known error resources.
- We deliver scheduled on-site support for agency staff, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
- We support conference room technology, perform software installations, activate network ports, and provide customer training during interactions.
