Position Overview
The Warehouse Associate II is an intermediate-level position responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations while performing more advanced tasks related to material handling, load optimization, and workflow efficiency. This role builds upon the foundational responsibilities of a Warehouse Associate by demonstrating increased proficiency in equipment operation, product handling, and operational coordination. The position works closely with warehouse leadership to ensure accurate, efficient, and safe execution of receiving, staging, and shipping activities.

Essential Functions- Perform all core Warehouse Associate responsibilities, including picking, staging, loading, and unloading materials.
- Optimize load configurations to maximize trailer space, ensure proper weight distribution, and support safe and efficient deliveries.
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment with a higher level of proficiency, including handling varied load types and sizes.
- Support efficient material flow by organizing staging areas and prioritizing loads based on delivery schedules.
- Assist in verifying order accuracy and ensuring materials are properly prepared for shipment.
- Collaborate with warehouse leadership to support daily workflow coordination and operational efficiency.
- Identify and communicate discrepancies, damaged materials, or loading issues to leadership.
- Support receiving activities, including unloading, inspection, and placement of incoming materials.
- Maintain organized yard and warehouse areas to ensure safe and efficient operations.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including proper equipment use and material handling practices.
- Provide guidance and support to Warehouse Associate I team members as needed.
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned to support IWP’s Vision, advance its Mission, and uphold the Organization’s Values
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum two (2) year warehouse operations and forklift experience required.
- Demonstrated proficiency operating forklifts and material handling equipment.
- Experience with load building, staging, and shipping processes preferred.
- Ability to understand delivery sequencing and load optimization principles.

Work Environment andPhysical Requirements
This position operates in a warehouse and outdoor environment with exposure to varying weather conditions. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, see, hear, and communicate. The role requires frequent use of hands and arms and the ability to lift and move materials up to 75 pounds.
