Blue Mountain Christian School (BMCS) is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable High School Science Teacher to join our faculty. The ideal candidate will be passionate about science education and committed to teaching from a biblical worldview. This individual will teach various high school science courses (such as Biology, Chemistry, Physical Science, Physics, or Environmental Science) and will help prepare students both academically and spiritually for future success.

• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree, preferably in a science-related field
• Teaching experience at the middle or high school level is strongly preferred
• Teaching certification is a plus, but not required
• Must agree with and adhere to the BMCS Statement of Faith
• Strong instructional, communication, and classroom management skills
• Ability to integrate biblical principles into all subject areas and discussions
• Enthusiasm for mentoring and discipling high school students in both academics and faith

• Follow the lesson plans laid out in our science textbooks, in alignment with the BMCS curriculum guidelines
• Integrate a Christian worldview into science instruction, encouraging students to see God’s design in creation
• Prepare labs, demonstrations, and experiments that reinforce scientific concepts in a safe and effective manner
• Assess student understanding through regular quizzes, tests, projects, and lab reports
• Maintain clear and timely communication with students and parents regarding academic progress
• Keep accurate records of grades, attendance, and student performance
• Participate in faculty meetings, school functions, and professional development opportunities
• Collaborate with other faculty members to support school-wide spiritual and academic goals
• Provide a positive Christian role model for students both inside and outside the classroom
• Demonstrates a personal and growing relationship with Jesus Christ
• Lives out and actively supports the BMCS Statement of Faith
• Promotes students' spiritual development by modeling faith and engaging in prayer.
