Assist a certificated teacher in providing instruction to individual or small groups; monitors and report student progress. Performs a variety of support functions in a regular classroom setting.
Minimum RequirementsCompleted at least 2 years of study (48 semester hours) at an institution of higher education; or
- Obtained an associate’s (or higher) degree; or
- Mississippi uses ACT Work Keys® assessment scores to measure this standard.
- Reading for Information Passing score = 4
- Applied Mathematics Passing score = 4
- Writing or Business Writing Passing score = 3
