Engineering Technician

We, at Leggett & Platt Inc., are searching for an Engineering Technician within our Product Development Engineering team to help support our Home Furniture Components business. Our Home Furniture business brings an intense focus on the customer, innovation, world-class manufacturing capabilities, and a global footprint together to create full package solutions for the industry. We do not make furniture. We make furniture more comfortable.

• Assisting engineers with product design, CAD support, and engineering documentation
• Supporting prototype builds and sample quality control
• Coordinating prototype shipping and logistics
• Participating in product validation and testing activities
• Collecting and communicating technical data across teams

• Associate's degree in Mechanical Technology preferred; relevant experience considered
• 1+ year of technician experience preferred
• Ability to machine, fabricate, and solder electrical components
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
• Experience with Solid Works, Zoho Project Management, MS Office Suite, and CAD tools
• Ability to support prototyping, testing, and validation processes
• Understanding of technical system requirements and design criteria
• Written and verbal English language skills

• Experience with mechanical and electrical fabrication tools
• Ability to travel up to 10% domestically and internationally
