Senior Tax Manager - Public Accounting

Location: Onsite - Tupelo, MS Compensation: $165,000 - $300,000+ DOE + Bonus Benefits: Comprehensive package including health, vision, dental, generous PTO, and 8 paid holidays

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage tax compliance, planning, and consulting for a variety of clients, including individuals, corporations, and partnerships

• Lead and mentor a team of tax professionals, providing training and guidance

• Review and approve complex tax returns to ensure accuracy and compliance with federal and state regulations

• Develop and maintain strong client relationships, providing strategic tax planning and advisory services

• Stay current on tax laws and regulations to provide proactive advice and identify tax-saving opportunities

• Assist in business development efforts by identifying and pursuing new client opportunities
• Play an active role in firm leadership, contributing to strategic initiatives and long-term growth

Qualifications:

• Outgoing, dynamic personality with a growth-oriented mindset

• CPA required

• 6+ years of tax experience in public accounting, with leadership experience preferred

• Strong technical knowledge of federal and state tax laws

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client and team interactions
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

• Proven ability to develop and maintain client relationships
