Talent Manager
Century Construction Group, Inc. is seeking a passionate and experienced General Construction Recruiter to join our growing team. We are a leader in the construction industry, committed to delivering high-quality projects and building strong relationships with our clients and partners.
About the Role:As our General Construction Recruiter, you will play a critical role in attracting and hiring top talent across various construction disciplines including Project Managers, Estimators, Superintendents, Skilled Tradespeople, Laborers, Administrative Staff, etc. You will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates, as well as managing the entire recruitment process from start to finish.
Responsibilities:- Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies to identify and attract qualified candidates for open positions.
- Utilize various sourcing channels to identify qualified candidates, including job boards, professional networks, and industry events.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the Applicant Tracking Systems.
- Establish and maintain professional relationships with colleges and local organizations to participate in job fairs or networking events.
- Create job announcements that list requirements for each job, such as desired work experience, education, and job skills.
- Screen resumes and conduct phone, video, and in-person interviews to assess candidate qualifications and suitability.
- Coordinate scheduling and logistics for in-person interviews with hiring managers.
- Facilitate the selection process by conducting reference checks and background screenings.
- Onboard new hires and ensure they are properly integrated into the team.
- Maintain strong relationships with hiring managers and other stakeholders.
- Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices in construction recruitment.
- Analyze recruitment data and metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Marketing or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in construction recruitment or a related field (preferred).
- Strong understanding of the construction industry and its various disciplines.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proven ability to source, screen, and interview candidates effectively.
- Proficient in using various recruitment tools and technologies.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Passion for the construction industry and a desire to build long-term relationships.
