Manager – Enterprise Platforms Infrastructure

• Manage, maintain, and support enterprise Intel-based computers, servers, mobile devices, applications, directory services, databases, utilities, equipment, and solutions on a 24-hour basis
• Plan, organize, communicate, analyze, evaluate, design, test, research, secure, and implement innovative technology solutions
• Establish technical standards, policies, procedures, and requirements for enterprise systems
• Develop, present, manage, and implement policies, solutions, and projects
• Plan, manage, coordinate, organize, and assign work for current and future requirements
• Manage day-to-day IT operations to improve infrastructure costs and performance and ensure end-user satisfaction
• Plan hardware and software upgrades, migrations, and new implementations
• Prepare upgrade documentation for staff and research and recommend upgrades to maintain supported versions
• Analyze enterprise problems and opportunities and provide innovative, cost-effective solutions focused on reducing downtime
• Evaluate, recommend, and implement hardware and software products for applicability, compatibility, and long-range integration
• Ensure staff are qualified, trained, productive, responsive, effective, accountable, cross-trained, and competent
• Develop and implement strategies to increase productivity, reduce expenses, and improve customer service in support of the I.S. strategic plan
• Ensure security and integrity of information, systems, applications, email, and directory services comply with MLH policies and industry standards
• Provide timely updates, communications, time estimates, project plans, and status reports to the director, customers, and outside organizations
• Supervise assigned Associates, Contractors, and Vendors
• Model behavior aligned with MLH Mission, Vision, and Values

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Sciences required
• Master's Degree preferred
• 3-5 years of experience in Information Technology, project management, or advanced support management required
• Combination of education and experience in Information Technology, project management, advanced support management, or similar experience equivalent to seven (7) years may substitute for a Bachelor's degree
• Expertise supporting Information Technologies and management
• Leadership ability in managing people, processes, hardware, software, and other resources
• Ability to exercise sound judgment and manage multiple projects with conflicting priorities and high-stress situations
• Proficiency in technical and business written, verbal, and presentation skills
• Must provide own transportation
• Must be able to travel to any area of the organization, both local and remote, as needed
• Subject to call back at all times
• Ability to interpret equipment status indicators
• Ability to occasionally use small hand tools and manipulate small computer-equipment components
• Ability to meet the stated physical requirements, including light work and repetitive hand motion

Demonstrates expertise in managing and supporting enterprise IT systems, including hardware, software, and applications, while ensuring compliance with security standards and improving operational efficiency. Proven leadership in project management and team supervision to enhance productivity and customer service.
