The U.S. Navy seeks Cryptologic Technicians Interpretive (CTIs) who are linguists and intelligence professionals. CTIs collect, translate, transcribe and analyze foreign language communications to support national security, tactical operations and strategic decision-making.
They work with advanced AI and ML systems and may serve aboard ships or submarines as required. Training includes two phases:
