As a Produce Department Lead you will drive sales in your area and supervise your team of hourly associates to deliver to our members more of what they love, for less. You will model expertise in Produce and work collaboratively with other team leaders to ensure the total club meets the member’s expectations.

• Be a Team Leader:
  Supervise the team in the Produce and Floral area to deliver on the business plan and contribute to the overall success of the club.
• Communicate goals and execute company programs, aligning with policies and advocating for the member, associate, and company.
• Be an Expert:
  Maintain in-depth knowledge of floor, backroom operations, inventory, sanitation, equipment usage, safety, and compliance. Manage seasonality, prioritize tasks, and share knowledge and training with the team.
• Be a Techie:
  Leverage digital tools to plan for and drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement. Utilize handheld technology for immediate business decisions related to production, training, and product quality.
• Be an Owner:
  Drive business results, maintain operational excellence, plan for profitability, and ensure a clean and safe work area. Maintain staffing levels, audit accuracy, and display merchandise according to layout plans.
• Be a Talent Ambassador:
  Teach and train the team, identify potential and desire in others, provide necessary skills, and encourage career growth. Source new talent internally and externally and collaborate with managers, coworkers, and partners.
• Lead and Participate:
  Use resources, information, and tools to determine customer needs and priorities, coordinate assignments, provide feedback, and model adaptability to change.

The hourly wage range for this position is $21.00 to $29.00*.

* The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.

Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.

• 6 months experience working in a fresh production department or 6 months experience supervising a team.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Successful completion of all required trainings and assessments within a prescribed time period if hired.

• Experience supervising a team.
• Food Handler Certification (Food Safety).
• Certification.
