The Quali Find Group has been engaged to search for and recruit an exceptional Sales Operations and Inside Sales Manager to work at our client’s headquarters in Tupelo, Mississippi.

The Sales Operations & Inside Sales Manager will lead a team of approximately 20 onsite phone-based representatives who serve existing customers and develop new business opportunities within the death care and cremation industry.

Reporting directly to the President, this individual will help shape the future of our client’s customer engagement strategy. This role combines hands‑on leadership with thoughtful process improvement and team development. We are seeking a manager who can inspire performance, build systems that enhance effectiveness, and foster a culture centered on service, accountability, and respect. This position requires a full‑time, onsite presence at our client’s Tupelo headquarters.

ABOUT OUR CLIENT

Our client is a family‑owned mid‑size manufacturer and trusted designer and supplier of memorial products serving families, funeral homes, cemeteries, and cremation providers across the country. Their products are designed to respectfully hold and memorialize the cremated remains of loved ones and cherished pets.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Leadership & Team Development
  • Lead, coach, and mentor a team of inside sales and customer service professionals.
  • Foster a positive, collaborative, and accountable team culture.
  • Provide structured performance feedback, coaching, and development.
  • Recruit, onboard, and train new team members as needed.
  • Inspire the team around shared goals and a vision for growth.
  • Oversee inbound and outbound sales efforts to support revenue growth and customer retention.
  • Strengthen relationships with funeral homes, cemeteries, crematories, and distribution partners.
  • Ensure a professional, compassionate, and responsive customer experience.
  • Support contract negotiations and successful closing of customer relationships.
  • Identify opportunities to expand market presence and deepen existing partnerships.
Systems & Process Improvement
  • Evaluate and refine sales processes to improve effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Implement systems and tools that enhance outbound call performance and customer engagement.
  • Monitor key performance metrics and use data to inform strategy.
  • Leverage CRM and reporting tools to track pipeline activity and team results.
  • Identify and remove barriers that limit team performance or customer satisfaction.
Strategic Collaboration
  • Partner with Marketing, Operations, and leadership to ensure a seamless customer journey.
  • Provide insights on market trends, customer feedback, and competitive dynamics.
  • Contribute to strategic planning as a member of the management team.
