Position: Neshoba Feed Mill (MLO) Feed Ingredient Receiver Operator FM02 - FT - 2nd Shift

Job Summary

Position:
Unloading Operator – handle bulk ingredient unloading via rail and truck.

Work Hours:

Monday to Friday, 2pm–10pm, with flexible scheduling. Compensation: $18.05 per hour plus $1.00 shift premium. Candidates must live within a 50‑mile radius of the facility.

Responsibilities
  • Accurately record data and document incoming ingredients through the ticketing system.
  • Operate scales, unloading equipment, and route feed ingredients to the appropriate storage silos.
  • Obtain and run quality analysis on required incoming ingredients.
  • Lift and use hand tools to assist in unloading ingredients, and perform minor maintenance duties.
  • Work in hot, dry, dusty, wet, and cold environments, including elevated areas, while following all safety procedures.
  • Sign and abide by company Biosecurity Guidelines.
  • Maintain good housekeeping in service areas.
  • Communicate to all levels of operations—including customers and vendors—in both oral and written form.
  • Follow and operate within all Tyson Health and Safety protocols.
  • Lift up to 60lbs. or up to 100lbs. with assistance; stand, sit, walk, and climb ladders or stairs as required.
  • Work holidays, weekends, and flexible hours as needed based on demand scheduling.
  • Complete other tasks assigned by management.
Requirements Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
Experience
  • Six months operator experience with one employer within the previous 12 months.
  • Six months clerical or feed mill experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of D.O.T. trucking procedures preferred.
Special Skills and Certifications
  • Basic math, communication, mechanical, and computer skills.
  • Ability to certify and maintain PIT Certification.
  • Ability to certify as a Weigh Master.
  • Ability to achieve and maintain respirator certification where applicable (including being clean shaven).
  • Valid Class D driver’s license where applicable.
Physical / Other Requirements
  • Must be willing and able to perform required job physical tasks with or without a reasonable accommodation.
  • Must live within a 50‑mile radius of the facility.
