• Friday 9 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
• and the second Saturday of each month from 9 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.

Retail Sales Associates play a vital role in keeping our store running smoothly and providing excellent service to our customers. This physical role requires standing for long periods and lifting up to 20 pounds to manage inventory and merchandise the sales floor.

Job Overview

• Location: Serving Grace Resale Shop in Tupelo, MS

Key Responsibilities

• Customer Service: Assist shoppers, answer questions, and process transactions efficiently at the cash register. Also help customers load and unload donations as needed.
• Merchandising: Arrange product displays, stock shelves, and follow visual guidelines to maximize sales.
• Inventory Management: Unpack donations, tag items, and organize the stockroom.
• Store Maintenance: Keep the sales floor clean, organized, and properly faced throughout the shift.

Physical Requirements

• Standing: Ability to stand and walk on hard surfaces for the duration of a shift (up to 8 hours).
• Lifting: Regularly lifting and moving boxes or merchandise weighing 15 to 20 lbs.
• Mobility: Continuous bending, reaching, stretching, and climbing ladders to stock inventory.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred/College Student/Retiree
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility to work randomly during peak hours
• Prior retail or merchandising experience is a plus, but not required.

Seeking a dependable and customer-focused team member to support daily retail store operations while helping advance our mission. This part-time role (12-18 hours/week) will be key holder and will assists with customer service, merchandising, donation processing, sales activities, volunteer support, and maintaining an inviting shopping environment.

As a trusted member of the retail team, you may open and close the store, handle cash management and bank deposits, supervise volunteers, and ensure smooth day-to-day operations in the absence of the Store Manager. This position will require occasional additional hours for special events, promotions, and community activities.
