Role Description This full‑time, on‑site Outside Sales Representative role is based in the Greater Jackson Area. The role involves prospecting and generating new business, presenting smart home and security solutions to potential customers, and conducting in‑person sales presentations in residential and commercial settings. The Outside Sales Representative will follow up on leads, explain product features and benefits, provide pricing proposals, and guide customers through the sales process and installation scheduling.
Day‑to‑day responsibilities include building and maintaining strong customer relationships, delivering excellent customer service before and after the sale, and meeting or exceeding assigned sales targets. The role also requires accurate documentation of sales activities, collaboration with internal teams, and staying informed about product updates and industry trends.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Sales Presentations and Communication to clearly demonstrate product value and close deals.
- Ability in Relationship Building and Customer Service to create trust, encourage repeat business, and support long‑term customer satisfaction.
- Proven aptitude in New Business Development, including prospecting, lead follow‑up, and territory management.
- Results‑oriented mindset with the ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and achieve sales goals.
- Comfort working in the field, visiting customers on‑site, and presenting in person in a variety of environments.
- Prior outside sales experience, ideally in security, smart home, or related industries, is preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in business, marketing, or a related field is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and ability to meet any applicable background requirements.
