Director of Maintenance
Job GoalTo maintain the operational efficiency and excellence of all district facilities in a manner that allows their full education use at all times.
Performance Responsibilitiesinstallation of concrete footings, foundations, finishing of concrete surfaces, and masonry work.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls, and he or she is required to talk and to hear. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms in such a manner as to operate vibrating machinery. The employee is required to sit, squat, stoop, kneel, or reach above the head as well as to reach forward.
The employee frequently uses hand strength to grasp tools and to climb on ladders. The employee will often bend or twist and the neck and waist while performing the duties of this job. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Occasionally the employee will lift and/or move up to 90 pounds. The employee will sometimes push or pull items such as tables, scaffolds, and cabinets.
Specific vision abilities used by this employee include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Twelve-month year. Salary to be established by the Board.
