Industrial Maintenance Mechanic – Bay St. Louis, MS

We are seeking a motivated individual to join the PR – Pearl River site maintenance team in Bay St. Louis, MS. The ideal candidate possesses a safety mindset and a high degree of self‑driven ownership and accountability over their duties.

• Performs preventive and corrective maintenance and investigates problems with polymer production equipment, including gear boxes, gear pumps, rotary air locks, polymer cutters, bagging machines, conveyor systems, and heat exchangers, following diagrams, sketches, manuals, and engineering specifications; troubleshoots malfunctions.
• Performs all work in accordance with established safety, environmental, and housekeeping rules and procedures to maintain safe and clean working environments.
• Removes defective parts by dismantling devices using hoists, cranes, rigging, and hand or power tools.
• Conserves maintenance resources by utilizing planning and scheduling models, equipment, and supplies as needed to accomplish job results in a demanding team‑oriented environment.
• Prepares mechanical maintenance reports in SAP by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends to assure the highest equipment reliability possible for all assigned areas.
• Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and identifying proactive needs.
• This career opportunity will be based out of our Bay St. Louis, MS facility.

• High School Diploma / GED
• Must have one of the following:
  • Minimum of 3 years of mechanical maintenance experience (e.g., mechanical equipment installation, disassembly, and assembly, millwright, pipe fitting, tooling, rigging, hydraulic, pneumatic, pumping systems, welding, etc.)
  • Associate’s Degree or Certification in an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic Program
  • Experience in maintaining and troubleshooting polymer process mechanical equipment
• Possess strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
• Possess good interpersonal skills in communication, listening, and safety practices.
• Possess good computer skills and knowledge.
