The Commercial Service Technician specializes in the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of HVAC systems, refrigeration units, and general mechanical equipment. Working primarily as an individual contributor within small teams, this role involves local and regional travel to customer sites. The technician utilizes standard hand tools, mobile service applications, specialized testing equipment, and diagnostic software to ensure optimal equipment performance and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities- Perform equipment maintenance and preventive maintenance on commercial systems
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and HVAC system issues
- Provide customer support and resolve service-related inquiries
- Install new equipment and ensure proper setup and operation
- Replace defective parts and components efficiently
- Adhere to safety compliance standards and protocols
- Document service activities and complete detailed service reports
- Minimum of 3 years experience in commercial service technology
- Experience with HVAC and electrical systems
- Skilled in mechanical troubleshooting
- Strong customer service
- Knowledge of safety protocols
- Proficiency in technical documentation
- Effective time management and communication skills
