The client is seeking an experienced Senior Java ESB Developer to support enterprise integration initiatives within the SID Team. This role is ideal for a highly skilled Java professional with deep expertise in Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) architecture, API development, and enterprise application integration using JBoss Fuse and Java/J2EE technologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing, developing, and enhancing large‑scale enterprise applications while collaborating closely with stakeholders to deliver scalable and reliable integration solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise integration solutions using JBoss Fuse and Java/J2EE
- Build and support RESTful and SOAP‑based web services and APIs
- Develop scalable microservices and event‑driven integration solutions
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to gather and define requirements
- Participate in architecture planning, technical design, and issue resolution
- Enhance and optimize enterprise applications for performance and scalability
- Write and maintain efficient SQL queries and database integrations
- Contribute to Agile development processes and continuous improvement initiatives
- Support system integration, orchestration, and ESB queue management activities
- 10+ years of hands‑on experience in Java development using Java 8+ and Object‑Oriented Programming principles.
- Strong expertise in:
- Java/J2EE enterprise application development
- JBoss Fuse and ESB integration
- Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Dependency Injection, IOC, SOLID principles)
- REST and SOAP web services
- API development, microservices, and event‑driven architecture
- SQL development and database integration
- Proven experience working directly with stakeholders to define business and technical requirements.
- Ability to identify technical improvements and participate in process optimization initiatives.
- Experience with cloud technologies
- Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server
- Working knowledge of Unix/Linux operating systems
- Experience working within Agile environments such as Scrum, SAFe, Kanban, or XP
- Background in SOA architecture and middleware technologies including:
- Web Logic
- Web Sphere
- JBoss
- Fuse
- Experience with ESB orchestration, queue management, and API integration using Java/JEE.
- Java JDK 17+ – Advanced – Required
- Java Enterprise Edition (JEE) – Advanced – Required
- REST & SOAP Services – Advanced – Required
- SQL Server – Intermediate – Preferred
