The Mississippi Department of Transportation is responsible for providing a safe intermodal transportation network that is planned, designed, constructed, and maintained in an effective, cost-efficient, and environmentally sensitive manner.

• First-level supervisory position accountable for coordinating and directing the work of maintenance technicians. Employee supervision includes hire recommendations, training, work planning, assignments, reviews, performance assessments, coaching, and progressive discipline.
• Supervision at this level also requires the knowledge and skills to perform and review the work overseen.
• Incumbents in this position are on call twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week.
• Dirt Floating Crew.

• You will need a strong work ethic, the ability to work well with others, and a commitment to contributing to a positive and collaborative team environment.

• Typically requires a High School Diploma or high school equivalency and 5+ years of experience.
