Role Description

The Class D Truck Driver is a full-time, on-site role located in Tupelo, MS. This role is responsible for safely operating company vehicles to deliver steel and supply products to customer locations and job sites in a timely manner. Day-to-day tasks include loading and securing materials, verifying delivery documentation, following assigned routes, and unloading products using appropriate equipment or tools. The driver will inspect vehicles before and after trips, report maintenance needs, and comply with all traffic laws and company safety policies.

Qualifications
  • Valid Class D driver’s license with a clean driving record and proven experience operating light- to medium-duty trucks.
  • Knowledge of basic vehicle safety inspections, loading and securing materials, and safe driving practices in industrial or construction environments.
  • Ability to read and follow delivery documents, maps, and route instructions, and to maintain accurate logs and paperwork.
  • Physical ability to lift, move, and secure steel and supply products, and to work in outdoor and warehouse conditions.
  • Strong reliability, time management, and attention to detail, with a commitment to safety and customer service.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work respectfully with customers, dispatchers, and warehouse team members.
  • Previous experience in trucking, construction supply, or warehouse operations is preferred but not required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is beneficial; willingness to complete company training and comply with all policies and procedures.
