The Strategic Marketing Expert is responsible for supporting market-driven growth strategies for the company’s pharmaceutical process systems portfolio, including purified water solutions and process equipment.
The role focuses on analyzing market dynamics, customer behavior, competitive positioning, and commercial performance to define strategic marketing actions, support Product Managers, and strengthen the company’s market presence. The Strategic Marketing Expert also owns CRM management and related marketing and sales performance reporting.
The candidate will report to Masco CCO.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Analyze market presence, commercial performance, and customer dynamics to support strategic marketing decisions
Develop market segmentation, targeting, and positioning strategies across product lines and regions
Monitor market trends and competitive landscape in pharmaceutical and biotech equipment markets
Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities across product lines
Support Product Managers and Sales Managers with data-driven insights for pricing, portfolio, and product development decisions
Manage the CRM system , ensuring data quality, consistency, and effective reporting
Develop standardized dashboards and management reports for executive and operational use
Support strategic planning and business reviews with structured analyses and recommendations
Knowledge & Key
Skills:
Experience in strategic marketing as , business analysis, strategy, statistics, or performance reporting in industrial or pharmaceutical-related environments
Support Business Development
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets and translate them into insights
Solid understanding of commercial KPIs , including order intake, margins, and sales performance
Understanding of pharmaceutical and biotech markets , including regulated environments is preferred
Hands-on experience with CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics or similar)
Advanced skills in Excel and BI / reporting tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau)
Structured, detail-oriented, and proactive working approach
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
Ability to work cross-functionally in a matrix organization
Availability and ability to co-operate with the internal structure of the different single companies including, Sales department, Technical depertment, Procurement, Project Managers, sales and After Sales Service
Excellent presentation and communications skills both oral and written
Entreprenrship
Fluent English (written and spoken); additional languages are a plus

Scientific/Technical Degree
Previous
Experience:
Proven experience in similar role in industrial, pharmaceutical, or process equipment sectors
Good capacity in self organization
Nice to Have:
CRM experience (Salesforce, Dynamics, similar)
AI applications experience
Statistics software experience is preferred
MAIN DUTIES KPIS:
Duities
Collect, consolidate, and analyze data from CRM, ERP, and other internal systems
Define and maintain customer and market segmentation models
Prepare periodic and ad-hoc reports on sales performance, order intake, margins, and pipeline health
Track market penetration and geographic performance across regions and segments
Analyze customer behavior and buying patterns to support cross-selling strategies
Maintain and improve CRM processes , including data governance, user adoption, and reporting accuracy
Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to align CRM data with commercial processes
Provide analytical support for budgeting, forecasting, and strategic initiatives
Contribute to competitive benchmarking and market intelligence activities
Support internal reviews, management presentations, and decision-making forums
KPI
Accuracy and timeliness of management reports
Data quality and completeness in CRM
Adoption rate and effective use of CRM across commercial teams
Quality of insights delivered to Product Managers and Management
Identification and conversion rate of cross-selling opportunities
Forecast accuracy for sales pipeline and order intake
Improvement in visibility of margins and performance drivers
Reduction of manual reporting efforts through automation and standardization
Management satisfaction with strategic and performance reporting
Growth of market presence in target segments and regions
