The Italian Branch is a law firm with professionals and offices operating in Milan and Bologna, specialized in several and strategic areas, including banking & finance, corporate law and M&A, real estate, energy, civil and tax litigation, technology, intellectual property, antitrust, labour law, transfer pricing, corporate tax, corporate reorganizations and financial restructuring.

Role Description  For our Banking & Finance team, we are looking for a talented and ambitious  Mid Associate  to join our practice. The successful candidate will have  2-3+ years of post-qualification experience , with a strong focus on  Banking & Finance transactions , particularly  corporate finance and leveraged finance, real estate finance and securitisation matters .
Experience in  derivatives and financial regulatory  will be considered a strong advantage.
Beyond technical expertise, we are looking for an engaging and business-oriented professional who will work closely with the Partner Head of the practice and play an active role in the continued growth and development of the team. We are looking for someone with the enthusiasm, energy and drive to contribute meaningfully to the expansion of the practice, helping to foster a collaborative and high-performing environment.

Requirements
Qualified lawyer with  2-3+ years of post-qualification experience .

· Strong experience in  Banking & Finance , with particular exposure to:
Corporate Finance
Leveraged Finance
Securitisation and Factoring
Real Estate Finance
Derivatives, Repos and Securities Lending
Financial Regulatory
Excellent academic credentials.
Strong drafting, negotiation and project management skills.
Fluent English, both written and spoken.
Proactive, entrepreneurial and team-oriented mindset.

Key Responsibilities
Working closely with the Partner Head of the practice on strategic matters and key client relationships.
Advising domestic and international clients on a broad range of Banking & Finance transactions.
Engaging with and coordinating cross-border matters.
Drafting, reviewing and negotiating finance documentation and transaction-related agreements.
Managing work streams and coordinating effectively with clients, counter parties, other offices and other advisors throughout the lifecycle of transactions.
Contributing to the development and growth of the Banking & Finance team through active participation in team coordination, business development initiatives, client opportunities and market visibility activities.
