About New Life Christian Center

New Life Christian Center is a growing multi-campus church committed to helping people find and follow Jesus. We are seeking a detail-oriented, trustworthy, and service-minded Finance Assistant to support the day-to-day financial operations of the church.

This position works closely with the Finance Office and plays an important role in ensuring accurate financial records, timely processing of transactions, and faithful stewardship of the resources entrusted to our ministry.

Responsibilities
  • Record and reconcile weekly tithes, offerings, and other contributions
  • Process vendor invoices, accounts payable transactions, and reimbursements
  • Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation in Quick Books
  • Assist with payroll processing and employee reimbursements

    Prepare and distribute contribution statements as needed
  • Support month-end reconciliations and routine financial reporting
  • Help maintain strong financial accountability and internal controls
  • Provide support for finance-related projects and administrative tasks as assigned
Qualifications
  • 1+ years of bookkeeping, accounting, or related financial experience preferred
  • Working knowledge of Quick Books and Microsoft Excel
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to work independently and follow established procedures
  • Dependable with strong personal integrity and follow-through
  • Prior experience in a church or nonprofit environment is helpful but not required
  • Supportive of the mission and values of New Life Christian Center
