Position SummaryFull‑time position available on or after April 13, 2026 for College of Business Administration Dean's Office. Under general direction, the Administrative Support Coordinator II (ASC II) plays a critical administrative leadership role within the College of Business Administration Dean's Office. This position is responsible for coordinating all clerical and administrative support functions for the Dean's Office, serving as a central point of operational continuity, and supporting high‑level college initiatives and leadership.
The ASC II independently plans, executes, and evaluates complex projects, manages sensitive administrative processes, and exercises significant judgment in the interpretation and application of policies and procedures.
- Independently coordinates day‑to‑day office operations for the Dean's Office, including workflow management and communications with internal and external stakeholders.
- Develops, implements, and evaluates office administrative procedures and college operational protocols.
- Serves as project manager for large‑scale college events from planning through execution and post‑event evaluation.
- Coordinates administrative logistics for college‑wide initiatives involving multiple departments and external constituents.
- Provides high‑level executive support to the Dean, including complex calendar management, sensitive correspondence, and high‑stakes scheduling involving campus leadership and external stakeholders.
- Serves as the primary liaison between the Dean's Office and CSU system‑level offices, community leaders, donors, and accreditation bodies.
- Prepares briefing documents, reports, and high‑impact communications with accuracy and discretion.
- Maintains and monitors administrative budgets and tracks expenditures in coordination with the Provost's Office budget analysts.
- Coordinates procurement, reconciliations, and college‑level financial processing in accordance with campus policies.
- Provides lead work direction to student assistants and may coordinate tasks among departmental ASC staff when executing college‑wide projects.
- Trains new administrative staff in university systems, procedures, and technology tools.
- Reviews and evaluates office workflows and provides input on performance where appropriate.
- Provides administrative support for the College's accreditation efforts (AACSB), including data compilation, document preparation, and coordination of site visits.
- Serves as support liaison for grant‑related compliance tracking, faculty research submissions, and curriculum updates.
- Coordinates faculty hiring documentation and onboarding support.
- May be required to obtain additional training and/or certification as part of professional development, based on department and/or campus needs, to stay current with industry standards.
- At the direction of appropriate administrator, may provide support to other areas as needed.

Education: Completion of a high school program, technical/vocational program, or their equivalents.
Experience: Several years of related office work experience.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, public administration, organizational leadership, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of progressively responsible administrative experience supporting senior leadership or executives.
- Experience in managing budgets, tracking financial transactions, and preparing financial reports.
- Experience coordinating events, handling logistics, and managing travel arrangements.
- Experience working in a higher education setting.
- Experience to be fully functional in all technical aspects of work assignments.
