Work Study Student Assistant
Temporary hourly-intermittent student assistant position available in Honors.
Position available on or after September 1, 2026 and ending on or before May 21, 2026. Possibility of reappointment based on budget, department needs, and job performance.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Provide general administrative support for the University Honors Program.
- Assist with preparing materials for Honors events, workshops, orientations, and student activities
- Help with event setup, check-in, cleanup, and other event-related tasks. Create and update flyers, signs, presentations, and other program materials
- Assist with maintaining student records, spreadsheets, and program files
- Support outreach and communication efforts with current and prospective Honors students
- Help organize and maintain the Honors Program office and shared student spaces.
- Make copies, scan documents, assemble packets, and complete basic data entry.
- Assist with inventorying and organizing program supplies and materials. Provide courteous assistance to students, faculty, staff, and visitors.
- Perform other related duties as assigned in support of the University Honors Program.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- Undergraduate students must be registered/enrolled in a minimum of six (6) Fall/Spring units.
- Must have received and accepted Financial Aid award for the current semester/year in which you are applying.
Salary Range: $16.90 per hour.
