Organizes department functions and meetings, answers questions pertaining to company policies and provides administrative support for typically a small department. Tasks may include, but are not limited to, answer telephone, customer assistance, accurate order entry, data entry, maintaining an accurate inventory, filing and record retention procedures, special project coordination, word processing, meeting preparation and support, purchase orders processing, ordering supplies, expense reporting etc.
The candidate supports and assists in the day-to-day activities of department.
Skills:
Ability to multi-task. Basic Knowledge of MS Office. Proficient in spelling, grammar, and composition. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to type 45 WPM. Ability to use internet and online tools. Filing (Alphanumerical). Ability to professionally handle customer issues via telephone or in person.
Knowledge:
Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Outlook, Internet Explorer, etc. Possesses and applies a general knowledge of office practices and business procedures.
Education:
high school diploma or equivalent / College Degree.
