• Position Summary
• Temporary hourly-intermittent student assistant positions available in the Theatre Department.
• Days/Hours
• Must be available to work during evenings and on weekends.
• Start Date
• Positions available on or after October 1, 2026 and ending on or before May 31, 2027. Possibility of reappointment based on budget, department needs, and job performance.
• Job Description/Duties
• Duties include but are not limited to:
  • Provide support as a box office cashier for Theatre Department events.
  • Provide customer service at Theatre Department events.
  • Provide support to the Theatre Department by assisting in the Theatre Office, Theatre Labs, Costume Shop, and Scene Shop.
  • Provide technical assistance when requested.
  • Other duties as assigned.
• Qualifications
• Preferred Qualifications
  :
  • Demonstrates prior cashiering and customer service experience.
  • Demonstrates the ability to quickly learn new software.
  • Demonstrates the ability to multitask; and the capacity to be reliable.
  • Demonstrates the ability to be highly motivated; and maintain a positive attitude.
  Required Qualifications
  :
  • Undergraduate students must be registered/enrolled in a minimum of six (6) Fall/Spring units.
  • Post-baccalaureate students in a graduate program must be registered in a minimum of four (4) Fall/Spring units.
• Salary Range
• $16.90 per hour.
