Applicants: Current Stanislaus State students enrolled or eligible to enroll only.

Duties:

  • Attend all General Chemistry Winter Workshop sessions.
  • Assist faculty workshop leader with student mentoring involving algebra, study skill strategies, Excel calculations, and basic chemical naming.
  • Foster an encouraging learning environment.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Wage/Salary: $18.20 per hour

Required Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate students must be registered/enrolled in a minimum of six (6) Fall/Spring units.
  • Post-baccalaureate students in a graduate program must be registered in a minimum of four (4) Fall/Spring units.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Current chemistry and/or biology major who has completed general chemistry 1 & 2 with a B or better letter grade (CHEM
    1100 and CHEM
    1110).
