Jr Ministry Coordinator

Student Ministry Team: The Student Ministry team at Crossroads Church is dedicated to introducing Jesus and the Gospel as a way of life to Students. We strive to help Students become fully committed followers of Jesus who live for the glory of God and the good of the world. We believe that each Student is unique and learns in a different way, so it is our goal to help them develop and grow in their relationship with Jesus in a fun, creative, imaginative, and applicable way.

Role: The Jr. High Ministry Coordinator is responsible for assisting with the development and oversight of Jr High Ministries that embody the distinctive character of Crossroads (Church Values). This is through serving Students and families of Crossroads, discipling students in the Christian faith, inspiring students to take up a life of service, and promoting friendships between the students of Crossroads and their leaders.

• Help mentor, lead, manage and support the Jr. High Ministry area
• Recruit, train, inspire, and encourage volunteers in all seasons
• Lead Wednesday Night & Sunday Morning Jr High Ministry
• Build a Small Group Ministry as a core of Jr High Ministry
• Oversee and prepare yearly Jr High Ministry Budget
• Be on local school campus, sports, clubs, events, engaging with students & parents
• Attend weekly staff meetings
• Be in full agreement with Crossroad’s Doctrinal Statement, Core Values, and Crossroad’s Mission of “Making fully committed followers of Jesus who live for the glory of God and the good of the world.”
• Perform other ministry functions as assigned by Lead Pastor or Executive Pastor

• Active Christian with clear evidence of a commitment to Biblical principles
• A cooperative team player, loyal to staff, directors and pastors
• Experience leading a Students Ministry
• Demonstrates love for kids and a passion for growing kids in their faith
• Highly relational & self starter
• Independent worker & problem solver
• Personal integrity, trustworthiness, and honesty
• Desire for personal development & continued ministry growth
• An aptitude for working on computers
• Ability to effectively prioritize tasks
• Ability to communicate clearly and positively with other staff and volunteers
